If you have not visited www.collegeboard.org, you may want to make it a habit, whether you are a student or parent/guardian of a potential college-bound student. This site provides many resources from college/career planning, to assessment information regarding PSAT/SAT, and Financial Aid Resources. Featured here is a link to some helpful forms that may come handy this FALL for your student, no matter what year you are in.
CLICK HERE TO PSAT – 10th and 11th grade The PSAT will be held on Wednesday, October 16th during periods 1 and 2. The PSAT is intended for college-bound students. This test is the single best preparation for the SAT that a student can get. We encourage students to consider taking the PSAT in both 10th and 11th grades. PSAT registration forms have been distributed to all 10th and 11th grade students in their class meetings. Additional forms are also available in the guidance office. There is a $15 fee to take this test. Registration forms are due to the Guidance Office by Monday, October 7th. Please register soon! PSAT 2013 Registration Form
SAT – 12th grade SWHS will administer the SAT and SAT subject tests on Saturday, October 5th and Saturday, November 2nd. Students may register at www.sat.collegeboard.org. Please sign up soon. Regular registration deadline for the October 5th SAT is Friday, September 6th. Registration deadlines are approaching! Students who receive free or reduced lunches are entitled to an SAT fee waiver.
